Our motivation
We selected our bottles before even considering the formulation of our products. In 2021, 139 million tonnes of single-use plastic waste were generated across the world , absurd right? It was out of the question for Fleurs de Peau to contribute to this plastic pollution.
Our first motivation was firm: to completely ban plastic within our company. After years of research, we finally found the ideal bottle, invented by a French engineer. It is designed from residues from the plant world such as sugar cane bagasse, hemp, flax, reed and other innovative biomaterials. The result is a 100% plant-based bottle, without endocrine disruptors, vegan, biodegradable and compostable EN 13 432. This means that not only does it decompose naturally, but it also fertilizes the soil , the winning combo!
The idea was to combine eco-responsibility and aesthetics , we are completely under the spell of our bottles which have an elegant and refined side, which we would almost like to keep in a case.
Clean, natural and organic formulas
Since our bottles do not come from petrochemicals and we are certain that they will not release microplastics or endocrine disruptors , we could finally develop our formulas on the same momentum. For a moment, you have probably heard of these disruptors, but our little finger tells us that you are probably unaware of their dangers.
Several studies have shown that endocrine disruptors could impact and endanger our health. They increase the risk of skin reactions , but also the appearance of hormonal pathologies and diseases such as cancer. We would have liked to stop there, but their effects extend over several generations and the most sensitive are babies and children. Developmental delays and impacts on the brain have been noted, it becomes obligatory to protect them.
It is for all these reasons that our formulas are minimalist, without synthetic, natural and organic fragrances. Our selection focused on exceptional raw materials and we are happy to say that all our products have Ecocert certification .
Make your life easier
We do not sell plastic , but we think of you. Our products come in 500ml bottles and as parents we know they can be heavy.
So, we tested our products in the laboratory with a plastic pump , the only one that is compatible with our products. We would have liked to select a pump made from biodegradable and compostable material, but the latter does not yet exist. Studies and research continue, we hope to offer it to you in the future.
If you opt for a pump, think about the environment. You can reuse it multiple times, provided you maintain it well and clean it properly.
Conscientious and reasonable production
The choice of our collaborators is carefully studied, we remain as local as possible and we only work with manufacturers who share the same values as Fleurs de Peau. By pooling our skills, it is possible to minimize the impact on the environment, respect codes of conduct or even protect employee rights.
We have a weakness for innovation, which is why we prefer to support daring companies, which fight to offer us real alternatives to polluting materials.
Environmental protection at the center of our actions
At Fleurs de Peau , we want to raise awareness on the subject of environmental protection, particularly on deforestation . Trees provide us with the oxygen we need and our forests are home to many species of flora and fauna. When they disappear, our entire system is at stake, our life is at stake.

Particular attention given to the most deprived
We questioned the world around us, particularly the fate of the most deprived, too often forgotten. Then we said to ourselves that taking care of our health should be accessible to everyone. We know we can't remake the world, but we can remake ours.
As informed hummingbirds, we want to help those who are not fortunate enough to have quality products that meet major needs. Our goal : to offer them Fleurs de Peau treatments, so that they can also benefit from the same advantages and benefits as others. We dedicate this action to underprivileged children.
We are starting this adventure alongside Caritas Luxembourg , known worldwide for its solidarity actions and its fight against injustice. Caritas Luxembourg acts for the well-being of men and women. In particular that of excluded, helpless or deprived people, whatever their origins, ages, nationalities, philosophical or religious opinions.
The objective of this first action is to help young children from single-parent families, whose parents are migrants or refugees, children living in a disadvantaged environment, with precarious income.
